Statistics of supply & demand indicate some minor cooling/slowing of activity in the market over the summer, after the super-heated spring selling season. Q2 to Q3 cooling is a typical seasonal trend, and by any historical standard, the Q3 market remained extremely strong, with the median house sales price just a tad below its Q2 peak. An autumn rebound in activity usually occurs and the number of new listings spiked up in September.
